Wow wow wow life is about experiences and what an experience!
From the turquoise waters of the South China Sea to the rugged beauty of the Vietnamese high country, our Guide Boo Nguyen knew all of the best roads and places away from the lumbering tourist buses and bustling crowds. Drawing on 16 years touring experience, Boo had an in depth knowledge of the local areas, where to eat, where to stay each night, what to do and where to go. Boo is a very friendly and easy going guy, he’s a champ and doesn’t mind a beer!
If you’re a motorcycle enthusiast this is the place to ride. The roads are amazing and the scenery is breathtaking, sweeping corners and fast straights drenched in the very typical Vietnamese scenic beauty.
I am convinced this is the only way to see Vietnam and what an experience it was. Jimmy and the team individually tailored our tour and ride options to suit our preferences and timelines. He also booked ongoing flights, transfers and accommodation and organised our Halong Bay 3 day cruise.
There are cheaper ways to see Vietnam but you will never see the humanity and raw beauty of this magnificent place.
We can’t wait to go back.
We started our trip in Nha Trang and had originally planned on only doing three days but after the first few hours we knew Boo, our guide was going to take us all the way to Hoi An. Boo is a seasoned motorcycle tour guide and ensured we had the best experience possible. He has friends all over the country and showed us an amazing time by introducing us to locals, showing us local vegetation, culture, food and so much more. We took back roads that normally a traveller wouldn’t know about ( not on our maps) and had the most scenic, beautiful ride. If you are going with easy rider, request Boo. He is the man for you. Without boo, the trip wouldn’t have been the same.

We initially did a 3 day trip with Boo and loved it (and him) so much that, just 2 days later, we booked a 4 day trip to Hoi An. (If we had, had time we would have loved to extend the trip!)
The second trip was just as brilliant as the first and Jimmy organised it incredibly quickly. (Thank you!)
Boo is fantastic at his job and stopped to show us different sights and landmarks, as well as introducing us to many of his friends and local people. Boo takes you away from the standard tourist traps and shows you the ‘real’ Vietnam. When we arrived in Hoi An, Boo introduced us to his lovely family friends and we’ve even spent time eating and drinking with them.
He also knows all of the best places to eat and, again, the accommodation that Jimmy and Boo sorted for us was exceptional. The trip is amazing value and the standard of hotel included (on both trips) far exceeded our expectations.
You haven’t really seen Vietnam until you’ve been on a motorbike trip and we couldn’t recommend this company more. Easy Rider Travel provide fantastic service, amazing guides, great bikes and everything you could need (from rubber boots to rain gear). Do yourself a favour and book a trip with them!
Thank you, Boo – you’re the best!
We had organised a tour from Nha Trang to Da Lat with easy riders for a group of 6. What started off as a normal trip quickly became very eventful due to the weather. From what we were told, it was the worst weather in at least 16 years.
It was absolutely bucketing down in rain (wet weather gear was provided) but this did not stop us as we had easily the best tour guide we have ever encountered. His name was Boo, and trust me if you use this company (which you should) request him.
We encountered 2 landslides, torrential rain, hail, rapid water and much more..but it was all manageable and very enjoyable thanks to Boo. He helped 6 bikes through all of this, and in between all the hard bits, managed to stop off at some of the best hidden local restaurants along the way to fill us with delicious traditional Vietnamese food and drinks.
Once we arrived in da lat, boo had recommended a hostel for us all to stay at, and he cooked us a BBQ using meat that he had organised for us on the way from a local butcher during one of our stops. Boo also went out of his way to go and find us all dry clothes from a local store to ensure we could finish our night off comfortably. We enjoyed the great food with some great “happy water” and ended a memorable day perfectly.
Thank you easy riders and especially thank you Boo for the most memorable day of our Vietnam trip so far. We are so grateful and we all have so many great stories to tell from this adventure.
